Reparatory Justice and Planet Repairs - The RYSE's Monthly Dinner and Discussion ✊🌱🔥

These dinners are our offer to the community of Stroud to come together in these times of crisis and start talking across the generations and yummy vegan dinner. This month we'll be focussing on the question: "In times of massive disrepair, how can we learn from our Afrikan family's work for reparations so that together we can fight for Planet Repairs and a world transfromed?" 

Linking through the PRALER Network we'll be exploring Reparatory Justice and powerful answers it offers in these times of multiple crises. We'll be bringing input from our Elders at the Stop the Maangamizi We Charge Genocide and Ecocide campaign and the wider International Social Movement for Afrikan Reparations (ISMAR), to help us understand reparations before beginning to explore it within our context here in Stroud + get the low down on how you can come with us and visit Brixton for the Reparations Groundings on 1st August!

It'll be very much a space for sharing from our own experinces and about the video/picture prompts we bring - so no need to be an expert, as we always quote from The Zapatistas - 'Between all of us we know everything' - and this is very much our attempt to bring together people from across the community to start having the big essential conversations.
